PRIVEEKOLLEKTIE RETURNS TO BASEL FOR VOLTA BASEL 2025
by Priveekollektie / 20 May 2025
Priveekollektie is delighted to return to Basel for VOLTA 2025, joining the fair in celebrating two decades in its founding city. Known for championing bold artistic voices, VOLTA’s 20th anniversary edition reinforces its commitment to discovery and thoughtful curation, ideals we share and continue to pursue.
For this special edition, Priveekollektie presents a dynamic selection of artists whose work speaks to lovers of both contemporary art and collectible design. The presentation includes pieces that explore materiality, identity, and narrative with conceptual rigor and exceptional craftsmanship.
We are proud to debut our collaboration with Carola van Dyke (NL) at VOLTA Basel. Known for her richly textured, expressive textile art, Carola’s work introduces a new dimension to our collection, balancing the tactile with the emotional in a way that is both immediate and enduring.
We also share Catharina van de Ven’s new project, Medieval, a bold and intricate now work-in-progress that bridges historical references with contemporary feminist narrative. This piece captures the essence of storytelling through fabric, offering a layered exploration of time, gender, and memory.
Other featured artists include:
Ien Lucas (NL) · David Dessens (FR) · Salustiano (ES) · Hans van Houwelingen (NL) · Amarist (ES) · Reinier Bosch (NL) · Boris van Berkum (NL).
From conceptual artworks to collectible design, the booth reflects our commitment to uplift people through art and invite dialogue.
